X-mas shopping madness

Do you like X-mas shopping? I do. But I know that many people hate it due to the "madness effect" in shops, i.e. crowds of people, long queues, lack of air and similar. So, if you are from the latter people, consider comming to Holland for your X-mas shopping!

The thing is that in this country some presents are distributed 4 weeks before X-mas, during a special "Sintaklas event" (basically, Ducth SantaClaus). So, shopping madness is somewhat significant at that time. But now, on X-mas Eve, shops are like usual, under normal operating capacity.

That was just another Dutch Discovery, or DD.

Boeing 7E7 Dreamliner

I will be honest with you: I write this post not because I am inspired, but because it is time to put something up on my blogspot. Nevertheless (what a cool word), I will do my best with my space-related discovery of the month:

Did you know that Boeing has recently launched development of its new commercial plane? It will be called Boeing 7E7 Dreamliner. 'E' stands for efficiency. Most parts if the plane body will be made out of composite materials instead of aluminium --> plane becomes lighter and requires less frequent service. Design of a plane is also nice: its wings resemble wings of a bird and a tail is fish-like. The beutiful forms of this pplane are best observed if you install Boeing sceensaver: http://www.boeing.com/companyoffices/gallery/screen/7E7saver.exe. Try it.
We will be able to fly it in 2008. And mainly around Asia. Most orders are from Asias. For instance, All-Nippon Airlines ordered 50(!) 7E7 Dreamliners.
